Terms & Conditions

This registration includes fifty-four (54) hours of training recognized by the Minister of Public Security to obtain a guarding license.

Training is given in person at the following address: specify

1) To be eligible, you must meet the following conditions:
- Be eighteen (18) years of age or older (at the time of application to the Bureau de la sécurité privée (BSP));
- Have no criminal or judicial record;
- Be physically and mentally able to exercise the profession of security agent;
- Have sufficient knowledge of the French language (reading, speaking and writing);
- Have permanent residency or be a citizen, failing which a valid work permit or study permit with right to work off-campus;

Payment includes :
- Documentation in digital format
- Access to the training platform
- Certificate of achievement required for BSP application (if exam passed)

2) Module rescheduling, absences, late arrivals and exam rescheduling
All requests for modifications (cancellations, date changes, absences, retakes) must be made by e-mail to academie@xguard.ca at least 7 days before the start of the session. Voicemails will not be processed.

Change of date :
- More than 7 days before the session: Free of charge.
- Less than 7 days before the session: A fixed amount of $100 will be retained (administration fee included).

Cancellation :
- More than 7 days before the session: A $25 handling fee will be retained.
- Less than 7 days before the session: A fixed amount of $100 will be retained (including handling fees).
- During training: No refund, no date change.

Other cases :
- If the candidate does not pass the exam, he/she will be allowed to retake the exam twice, for an additional fee of $50.
- Failure to attend a final exam or a re-take of a final exam will result in failure of the exam with a grade of 0.
- If the candidate fails the exam and the two retakes, Agence Tézig is no longer bound by its training obligations.
- If the candidate is more than 15 minutes late without justification, the trainer reserves the right not to accept him or her on the course, which will incur a $50 make-up fee. Days of absence will not be reimbursed.
- Any course not taken by a candidate must be retaken, by arrangement with the trainer, to be eligible for the final exam. A fee of $50 will be charged for each day of re-take and/or exam re-take.
- If the student withdraws from the course, no refund will be made.

3) Rules and regulations
To obtain a certificate of successful completion of the training course, the participant must attend all courses, actively participate in discussions and exercises, and obtain a mark equal to or greater than 70% on the final examination;
- If the candidate passes the exam, the certificate will be sent within 7 days.
- Candidates must behave respectfully and courteously towards all members of the Tézig agency, as well as other candidates, throughout the training period.
- Failure to do so may result in exclusion from the course, exam or training.
- All written and oral training will be conducted in French.
- Candidates who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who are caught sleeping during the course, will be excluded from the course for the day.
- The use of cell phones or other electronic devices is forbidden during the exam, as are the candidate's written notes.

REGULATIONS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT SECTIONS 190-196
The training covered by this agreement is valid only for the province of Quebec;
Agence Tézig is not responsible for the issuance of the guarding permit issued by the BSP.
The candidate accepts to receive job offers, but no job is guaranteed at the end of the training.
Notice: Please note that training is subject to cancellation if the number of participants is insufficient. The participant will be notified within a reasonable period of time in order to reschedule the training at a later date.
